No, I called you buckaroo. I had hoped that you would be able to realize that such a word is most often directed at children, and using it in reference to one who is not is to be condescending towards that person. Apparently, you did not catch on. You also did not catch on to any of the other points I made. Did those go over your head to? I'll try to dumb myself down for you from now on.

Now you admit that Saddam was in violation of international law... funny that you decide to admit to that now. So let m eget this straight. The US takes action against an international criminal.
France, who has $1.8 billion at stake, blackmales with its veto power to prevent the US from taking action. And you still insist that we should have just stood idly by and allow 400+ people die every month in Saddam's totalitarin regime? I'm glad you and France could put that price tag on the Iraqi people.

If Canada wants to continue being angry at us and insist that we are violating international law, then there are two options:

1. They can feel free to send in the mounties and see what they can do against the US , or

2. They can come to the realization that international law should not be regarded as perfect and needs to be forgone if the situation demands.

Sure, let's all follow the law but only as long as it is convenient for us.
Let's all run around with that criminal mindset and just forget about about trivialities like civilization.
What if, just as a random example, there are some elements in your neighborhood that don't regard US law as perfect and think it should be foregone whenever they feel an impulse to beat up an annoying little moron?

I've noticed a pattern in our discussions. You get backed into a corner, then select a non-important bit of trivia to focus on for a couple of posts, then come out of left field with some random point about US action in Iraq that I haven't answered yet and declare that it is the be-all-end-all point. Interesting...

*No, no one has called me buckaroo before. Might refer to my children as it, though. I imagine that they'll be about six years old and at the same maturity level as you, so it would be appropriate.

buckaroo from Lynchburg, Virginia, hasn't thought of this.

There is not much light over there, in buckaroo country.
