I own lots of Jesus stuff, and statues / pictures of the Blessed Mother, and lots of holy cards of St. Therese (I collect them), and about 4 crucifixes.

My mother owns none.

My girlfriend's mother owns quite a bit. However, it shouldn't bother me.

If someone gives me common decency and respect, if they are benelovent to me, and even further if they love me then I don't care if they have 5000 jesus images in their house. Those properties should far outweigh any silly argument over beliefs.

Thats nice for you Chicken, but thats not what I asked. Did I in any way insinuate that I care more about the amount of Jesus shit than how I`m treated by the owner of said shit?

Jesus DOES happen to be a big problem in the relationship between my girlfriend and her mother, but I have not got involved and momma has NO idea how much I loathe her wacko religion.

I don`t know about you,but when a 28 year old woman living with her mother feels so guilty about sleeping at her 32 year old boyfriends house because momma thinks it`s a HUGE sin against Jesus,I`d say theres a problem here.
She`s been telling her mother she`s sleeping at her girlfriends house for the past THREE YEARS so her mother don`t flip out and pray her rosary all night and then threaten her with burning in Hell for having relations out of Christian wedlock.

How many heterosexual 28 year old women do you know that have sleepovers at there girlfriends houses 2 or 3 times a week? And this is just the tip of the iceburg.

I`ve never gone over there for holidays or even the occasional dinner out of fear her mother is going to start on me and I`ll let her have it about her mythological sky fairy who we ALL have to make happy by following bullshit rules and keeping our heads in the sand.

Do I have problems with this superstitious and oppressive Catholic Jesus bullshit? You fucking bet I do,but that wasn`t what this thread was about.

Did I in any way insinuate anything other than the cold facts? You seem to be taking what I see as simple plain facts rather personally. Why is that?

That's up to you I suppose but they were not intented that way.

Good day to you too.

The way I knew our favorite pizza joint would be good (a real question in NC) is that they have a huge infant of prague under a plastic dust cover on top of the salad bar. Now that's an authentic Italian place.

Where is Kally talking about her mom when you need her?

From what I've heard, I would be willing to bed MK's mom has more than $10,000 invested in God/Jesus artifacts, if you include the Benny Hinn and Paul/Jan Crouch tapes.
