Of the theistic religions, deism is the only one that doesn't bother me.
Even though I'm atheist, I can accept someone wanting to believe something created everything, then just left it alone.
I don't know how deism treats the afterlife crap though, I can't accept any of this afterlife nonsense.

Some don't. I know that my boyfriend doesn't. He's thought about reincarnation, but doesn't really believe in it. And as far as he's concerned, if death means sleeping forever, then it's a pretty cool thing.

As he likes sleeping, having no afterlife ought to fit with his tastes quite well.
