Courage, conviction, and dedication to principle throughout a terrible period of our history.
Just had to post this somewhere. Hope you're doing well, Champ. |

You should check out the African musician legend Fela Kuti. Far more impressive in my opinion.

Newsweek came out with a survey about the greatest sportsman.
They picked out Pele over Muhammed Ali and Michael Jordan. Newsweek people claimed that Boxing was in its infancy then. There wasn't any real challenger then. So Muhammed Ali was quite like George Mikan. Sure... I ended my subscription soon after I read this. Muhammed Ali faced the greatest challenger in human history. Muhammed Ali faced the challenge and triumphed. This challenger was an extraordinary fighter. It has might that can demolish an entire continent. It has wealth that puts the wealth of the people in the Bible in shame. At last count, this fighter controls 1/4 of the world's total output. It was proud fighter, educated, powerful and wealthy. But Muhammed humbled him...oh yes sir, He humbled the United States. You can't find a challenger bigger than that. |
