That is but another false belief some Atheist have about Christians. If we walk through this time that we have been given, and bring love to others, than it is far from a waste. I am not wasting my life, and I trust that you are not either. |

If I were pushing for any beliefs, it would be religious pluralism. I personally admire the ancient Greek Pagans and the East Asian syncretism a lot, and think they would be the religions that can cause the best interfaith tolerance. In East Asia people not only respects the others' religious beliefs they acknowledge that there exists wisdom in most religions existed. Atheism is tolerated and respected as any other religions, and different members in a family can practice different religions without much conflicts. Interfaith marriage is the norm rather then exception among the Taiwanese.

I am sure the beach is beautiful. I pray that you will be able to take your mind off yourself and spend the day allowing your children to do, as they desire. |

Now, you come here to an ATHEIST forum spouting your Christian nonsense, and you have the nerve to say, "it appears that you have an earnest desire to spread your message and thus clear the world of faith in God." That's not the pot calling the kettle black. It's more like the pot calling the silverware black. Quote:

Secondly, because your reasoning is invalid, the only way to show that "atheists" want to make other people disbelieve is through the evidence of action. If you cannot show this, you have nothing. Finally, it is possible that some atheists do want to make people disbelieve. But you cannot take a simple lack of belief in a certain thing and turn it into a unifying cause. Very few, if any, want to promote disbelief in god(s) simply by virtue of disbelieving in god(s). Atheism is not a religion. It is a negative position with respect to one issue. It is not somehting people prosletyze for. Quote:

Christians often claim to have "evidence", which subsequently turns out to be nothing but more of their subjective interpretation of superstitions, so count me skeptical. |
