I picked violet. My wife has very pretty dark brown eyes, which match her hair very nicely. Last year, we went out with a large group for a friend's birthday, and she dyed her hair a deep red and wore some violet cosmetic contacts, and I was pretty much speechless when I saw how amazing she looked.

My eyes are grey-blue. I think they're a boring colour, to be honest. I wish I had vivid, piercing blue or green eyes.

I think blue eyes are nice, but overrated. The last straw for me was when they gave Frodo blue eyes in The Lord of the Rings. for me, the darker your eyes are, the better, but I voted grey, because it's rare, looks nice, and elves have grey eyes.

Well, my first girlfriend has BEAUTIFUL green eyes. Hypnotizing.
(We broke up amicably)

My current girlfriend has these wonderfully brain-melting brown eyes.

My conclusion?
FUCK YOU, DEMOSTHENES!!!

(Just kidding. )

Anyway, I voted violet, because it's an exotic color which I have yet to see. As for my own eyes, I guess 'dark' is the most apt description. Some days, they're just a REALLY REALLY dark brown, but most of the time, people can't tell my pupils and irises apart. *shrug* Then again, the fact that my eyelashes usually block part of my eyes doesn't help any WRT pupil/iris discrimination.

Just kidding, just kidding...

I don't consider my eyes to be grey though, more like slate. (a mix of blue and grey, but mostly on the grey side)

Sometimes they're slate, and sometimes just plain grey.
