God believers and schizophrenics share common traits. Both perceive
entities (something that has separate and distinct existence or indefinable certainty).
Both involve magical thinking, both are delusional. Christians converse with an invisible entity God / Jesus which exists only in their imagination, the schizophrenic too thinks the entities they talk to and hear as real exist only in their imagination.
We can excuse schizophrenics for their mental disorder, their thought
process has a real physiological cause. But, how can we forgive parents for
inducing the God / Jesus concept and schizophrenic thinking to their children that
exists only in their imagination.? Perpetual pathology, called brainwashing.
