We don't produce more food, than we used to. We get our food from mainly from other countries, and have become dependant on them for food.

I mean tonnage of things and resources exploited has decreased. Not becaue their isn't any, but because it is cheaper and more profitable to get them from abroad.

Someone mentioned that computer industry, the upper class are even taking those jobs to places with cheaper labor and more profit.

Lets break up your argument a bit. You seem to equate capitalism with government, and you think capitalism is bad. Ok, good place to start.

So, according to me and me

Capitalist systems work to control as many people, and thus their resources, as possible.

government = capitalist system
capitalism = bad

therefore;

government = bad.

Alright. Now then, which had a bigger governmental sys., the US or the USSR??

Your seem to lean to Commy type alternatives. Now, then, I know if I pull out past examples of socialist states you'll say that a true socialism never existed, so we'll skip that part.

However, the basic tenat of a true socialism is that each citizen give up a majority of their income to the government for re-distrubution. Collection and re-distrubution causes unrest among those who work hard. Best way to keep unrest as just that is with a large military, not pointed outward, but inward. So, to get rid of an "oppresive" capitalist system, you have, in effect, created a larger, more oppresive socialism. And now everybodys happy. NOT!

M&M, economic dependence on primary industry is one of the key signs of a poorer economy. Look at all western nations, very few are fully self-sufficient. Ironically Australia is one of the very few exceptions & the source of much domestic criticism. Fortunately if it weren't for the strength of the manufacturing and service industries, the current crippling drought would have devastated the economy. As such, growth of the service sector is an encouraging sign to maintain a strong economy.

For a primary industry economy try Laos.

I don't believe that capitalists want to control as many people as they can.

I believe that they want to make as much profit as they can, by any means necessary, as history has shown to be the case.

I am only for a system that controlled, ruled and used to profit the society as a whole. (Communism )

As for the Soviet Union vs U.S. question (didn't see that coming), this is just a neverending my cock is bigger than yours argument, that is only used by the blind followers of The Commies are Coming ignorant americans.

Which is fortunate because then so many more high school students can afford to surf.

How's the U.S software industry under capitalism ? I seem to recall you guys do a bit of programming over there. Something about apples in windows, dunno, us Aussies are just simple farming folk.

The history of what?

I have argued alot with anti communists before and their arguments are the same pretty much. So it doesn't take alot of reading to get in line.

Sincerely
