I know people don't trust me, thats comes with being a fundie, I can smile and live with that.

Well if Im screaming insecure, then show me, and its just opinion I would take it with a grain of salt.

What I see is tears attempted to challenge and was beaten, maybe by harsh means, but was still beaten, lots of times when people have no response or are put in their place they cry foul, maybe she shouldn't have engaged.
You missed the whole point...

You see what you wish to see...

We'll leave it at that.

I wish I could believe that Seebs, my friend.
However, that is where I was baited, ambushed, and banned within a matter of minutes.

Conveniently, the posts to prove my case were deleted, never to be seen again.

For Smilin

It's been a long road, getting from there to here.
It's been a long time, but my time is finally near.
And I can feel the change in the wind right now. Nothing's in my way.
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna hold me down.

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

It's been a long night. Trying to find my way.
Been through the darkness. Now I finally have my day.
And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky.
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna change my mind.

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days.
But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change.
I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain.
But I'll be fine ...

Cause I've got faith of the heart.
I'm going where my heart will take me.
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.

Yeah, but humankind is the paragon of God's work. The "I'm more humble than you" gambit was used unsuccessfully ultimately, by Uriah Heep, too.

Well, hmm. Tell ya what, give it another try, and we'll see if we can't do a better job this time... The mods hadn't gotten their sea legs yet, IMHO.

I think he gave up on the site. He got into a couple of big debates with Outspoken which were total wastes.

He once had a really, really, good question: Imagine that a woman you're not married to announces that she will kill herself unless you have sex with her RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

What do you do?

He got a lot of good, solid, answers, from both sides. Outspoken dismissed the people who said they'd do it as "obviously wrong". When someone said "well, would you let her die", he said "no".

He then proceded to absolutely, positively, refuse to give any meaningful answer to the question. His best bet was "a real Christian would never end up in that circumstance". I suggested the case where you get into a circumstance where that's happening, and on the way home, someone tells you about the Gospel, you convert, and... you get home and there's the woman with the gun.

Anyway, UWO has been gone for a while, but he was a really cool guy. One of the few people I've ever seen apparently get the hang of not judging people.

You were banned from liberal theology? And within a matter of minutes?

I wonder how you would do at the atheist site?

That is a good question, thats a great theoretical question! Probably had Outspoken among many others running around in circles.

Hey if I judge people will you like let me know right away if you spot it? Its hard being a fundy and not be seen as judger, some of the less seasoned may see what i say sometimes as judging, but I hope thats not the case.

Yeah, I'll spot for you.

Personally, if those really are the options, yeah, I'd fuck her. I don't think those are ever really the only options, and frankly, I think it's an elaborately constructed way to rape someone... but nonetheless, I tend to think that helping people stay alive for a while is the best way to heal them. Probably. I have no idea what I'd *actually* do.
