Talking You'll never believe this church sign!

Yesterday, I saw a sign on a church that said,

Quote:
"JUST BECAUSE IT'S DOGMA, DOESN'T MEAN IT'S TRUTH"
wtf? I don't even know what they were trying to say! I'm taking a picture today.

dogma
A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church.

My guess is that it is a statement against the recent confirmation of the gay bishop.

One church's dogma is another church's sin. It does amaze me how xians can claim Truth when they can't agree on what Truth is. Oh well. :banghead:

I remeber seeing a church sign that said: "I have friends in low places." To me it sounded like there was some priest on a rampage or something.

I'd send the church a letter with appropriate American Atheists or Humanists or something letterhead saying, "Thank you, you're finally catching on."
