Thumbs down The In-Laws redux

No, I haven't seen the remake, of course, and I am a huge fan of Albert Brooks, but there is no need to remake The In-Laws.

Alan Arkin's and Peter Falk's performances in that movie are iconic ("Aw, listen") and should remain so, IMHO.

And while I do herald anything Albert Brooks does or is involved in, paring him with Michael Douglas (another actor I respect) just seems so bad in this remake that I can't fathom the (non)thinking behind it.

A sad, sad day. Here's a thought for Hollywood; let's remake Catch-22 with the cast of Dawson's Creek!

Are any of you mad as hell at all of the goddamned remakes?

How f*cking stupid is the audience and when will they stand up and say, "[/b]F*cking enough[/b]"?

From what I understand it's a remake in title only. It bares almost no resemblance to the original. I think it looks really funny.

The Italian Job looks like shit.

It's about frickin' time that movie was released on DVD! WTF took them so long? Did they forget they once made movies that were actually funny, and someone had to remind them that such things existed in their vaults? What's the deal?

So is Senor Pepe's.
