And so the relevance is maintained in regards to the initial post wouldn't you agree?

DD, I have no idea as to what Jesus really did. All I know is Christianity is founded on a single historical event. The purported act of suffering by proxy by Jesus, without which there would be no Christianity. That sick idea and Christianity are inextricably bound together.

aye, but I seperate the teachings of Christ to the doctrine of christianity.

HUGE difference, hence the fault with the proffessors example imho.

Starboy, in case you haven't noticed, it's pointless to debate with Darth Dane...

What I think is the most disturbing part of the story is that cydonia's mom views it as something positive and worthy of sharing.

If I had been in that class, I would have left way before the prof got to me.

No donut, no pushups, no quandary.

It also means I wouldn't be late to my next class.

Now think if the class had gotten wise and they had all left?

Default Christ's donuts

Bad analogy is right! These stories that some people are suposed to find comforting just make me so sick. I sure wouldn't have accepted that donut if I knew what that "prof" was up to. The intent of the story couldn't be more different than its effect.
Somthing else I'd like to know...what about the kids who ate the donut but then threw up because they were so disgusted by the whole situation? Did they just have an involuntary purging of God? Are they damned too?

I like your version much better!
But I find the Holy Frosting disturbing...
