Ten facts about me

1) I have a cat that was born with only 3 legs. Her name is Chicken.

2) I haven't left Tasmania for the last 22 years

3) I loved playing the Monkey Island series with my kids.

4) Errol Flynn once lived in the street that I grew up on.

5) The only time I ever prayed in my life was the day of the Tasmanian bushfires. We had heard that my grandfather's town had been hit be a firestorm and we didn't know if Pa was alive or not so I prayed. I was only 8 years old.

6) I love mythology especially Norse and Finnish mythology.

7) I love Pre-Raphaelite art

8) I saw Lord of the Rings 8 times at the cinema

9) I am bloody sick to death of Star Trek (as some of you already know)

10) I love mountains and hate the beach.

That means you live near me. I hope you'll consider joining us at our next Atlanta area Infidel gathering. I'm also going to ask my husband's Indian coworker where they go for good curry on the Southside.

I am new here. I haven't got a chance to finish reading this Thread. Amie kind of got me here, but I'm an Atheist over at the Atheist Network and I'm here by as much as we all get around.
I only have about 3 of the 10:
1.) I would like to see my days Totally Cloudy or Foggy, Below 75 degrees, (80 is fine for swimming and feeling metabolism low for other reasons at times.), misty, sprinkly, showers, light rain and then some rain in alternations or is that alternations? This is my kind of Weather.

2.) I’ve been Single all my life and my attraction to girls/ladies/women (Which ever to call them?) is the Epitome in which they can be so very attractive. That I have these wishes that would be to find some compatibility’s with one. Some time out my life and not just in such a limited amount of time in my life either. I am not subjective to what attracts me to the likes in them. I would like to find them with small breast. I say that, because the default and cultural influences this stereotypes seems to have is that all men want them big. I want to make that stereotype notion understood and better cleared up, that I’m in a different interest with this part of what interest me. I’ve got other interest that might also be different then what are even yet, these stereotyping ideas. Of what I like and find attractive and what I would like to have with intimacy.

3.) I have me Pet Birds and I like Watching Outdoors Wild Birds also. I’ve had quite a few Budgie Parakeets and about 11 of them have died in the last 15 years of having them. I have 4 Budgie Parakeets at present, a male zebra finch, and 2 Cockatiels. Back in 1994 & 1995, I build my own big birdcage. About 4 feet tall, sitting on a cabinet. In which it makes it reach to the ceiling. The Base size is: 2’ X 1 ’ , then I made a Terrace on top of the cage: Left Top: 6" X 3’ - wraps to the front as: 6" X 2’. The Right Top: 16’? X 18". The Birdcage looks like a Mushroom. Made of Aluminum Frame Structure, clear acrylic? Plastic, another solid type of thin plastic? For the flooring and wire grid mess for the skin of it. With me you’re going to have to fear those Chickens! I see.

Wow! Wish I had the time to have read ALL of these responses from everybody! Also wish I could respond to some of them. Only ten? Oh well, here goes:

1. I'm 32 and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
2. I'm still absolutely in love with my wife of 7 years.
3. I've got a son who's nearly 2, and is the best thing (next to the wife) in my life. He's so amazing! Can't believe how much I love him.
4. I'm a strong atheist.
5. I've got a BS in Mathematics (minored in Philosophy of Science and Logic) from RPI.
6. Served nearly 9 years in the USAF.
7. I love chocolate!
8. I probably spend too much time looking at online porn ... but I love the nude female form.
9. My favorite number is PI.
10. I'm currently reading Godel, Escher, Bach (yes, for fun!)

7) I love theater arts, such as starring in play productions at school.

8) I dislike my step-father.

9) I can close my right eye alone, without moving anything else on my face.

Okay, ten more facts about me. A little bit less depressing this time. Hopefully.

1. I am taking a BA/BSc double degree at the University of New South Wales, majoring in Computer Science and Philosophy.

2. Association Football (aka Soccer) is my favorite sport to watch. Even though I've never been to London the football team I support is from there, namely Fulham. They're still going strong in the UEFA Cup. \o/

3. I do not keep a diary.

4. I had long hair for three or four years, but got it cut recently when I started playing sports again, since it got in the way.

5. My favorite song at the moment is Nick Drake's Cello Song. If there ever is a film made about me, I'd want it to end with this song.

Strange face, with your eyes
So pale and sincere
Underneath you know well
You have nothing to fear...

6. I am addicted to coke - the coca-cola kind, that is.

7. I do not have a job, so I am always low on funds. This makes me hunt bargain bins. Just last week I bought the game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for A$10, which could well be the best 10 bucks I've ever spent.

8. Being low on funds also make me avoid hairdressers. I will never walk into one again after being charged $30 for a damn trim.

9. Clothes are also too damn expensive. So I never buy new ones, and do my clothes shopping at places like the Salvation Army.

10. The above two facts are the reason for fact 1. from my previous ten facts.
