In yet another attempt to move beyond the mass media induced ignorance I would like to point out that there are a ton of very good articles at z magazine currently many concerning the Iraqi war which is going to happen, democracy be dammed.

Just out of curiosity... ZNet is a highly successful site with a huge amount of daily traffic, covering a wide range of topics. How are we defining "mass media" these days?

I'd say also that if less than 2% of the US voting population is even aware of its existence its pretty safely not mass media.
