Its a good site. Occasionally I send Randi stuff which appears in the commentary. The commentary archive is a good lazy afternoon's read.

I just can't recommend the forum for the reasons I've specified.

Our good friend Jedi Knight has appears to have smartened up a little bit (he actually is now a member of JREF, and pays his dues), but I only say appears because he hasn't posted for awhile. Franko has secluded himself and now posts much less often.

Remember TP, I had cereal for breakfast...(inside joke)

Last time I checked Franko was around 95 posts for the last week. Maybe he's changing keyboards.

He is far and away the top poster on the board, and as far as I'm concerned, ruined it for everybody else. :banghead:

The only positive I've noticed is that Undercover Elephant is a) back and b) making a lot more sense. I hope Geoff is recovering well and responding to treatment. Tell him that TP wishes him well.

Most of the people at sciforums.com are not particularly stupid.

Catalist is the official list of email lists that run on Listserv. There's tons of great lists there, most moderated and full of intelligent people discussing things they know tons about. Enjoy!

I frequent the JREF also, but I usually hang out at the Darwin Awards. In the author's own words:
Quote:
The Darwin Awards honor those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it. We commemorate the actions of men and women who gave their all, in an effort to improve the human species. Of necessity, the honor is usually bestowed posthumously.
The forum is here.

Something is wrong with this sentence -- fix it, and without the rolleyes.

If you would...

[edit: perhaps that is just the way you talk: I give a to that.]
