Angry Hey Joe, what don't you know?

This could be in Media, but I mainly hate the guy for his politics.

On his little-watched MSNBC show, Joe Scarborough recently spun this little homily:

Quote:
Yesterday, I took my boys and their friends back down to the World Trade Center site. And I was pointing out from a distance where those two huge towers once stood. My younger boy asked me what the two towers were called. I stopped for a second and I smiled, telling him that one was called Afghanistan and the other Iraq. That was black humor that went way over my son's head, but, today, it underlines a very important point.
When America got attacked, we took over a country for every building that got knocked down on 9/11. And the last thing we want to hear is some whiny Frenchman or U.N. diplomat telling us it's time to turn the other cheek.
First, which country are we going to invade to avenge 7 World Trade Center? You know, the 40 story building which also collapsed that day?

Second, wasn't it Jesus, not the French, who invented the concept of cheek-turning?

The guy's such an ass, I hate to even waste time on him.

I can't stand the weasel myself. The man is seriously obsessed with Hillary Clinton. He constantly rants about liberal media bias, and I'm wondering where I could go to hear some of this liberal bias because all Im seeing is either neutral or obvious conservative bias. I like to watch his show because normally the liberal guests kick ass. Amazingly he seems to be getting better about letting people say their piece and has surprised me a time or two by taking republicans to task.

Phil Donahue had it right. MSNBC is trying to out-fox FOX with these right wing pundits, Scarborough and Weiner included.

Yeah, he complains about the "liberal media" when he -- who is conservative to the core -- has his own prime-time show on a major cable news channel. The irony is apparently lost on him.

I love how in the begining of each show he tries to do he version of O'Reily's "Talking Points" (TM). I can't remember what he calls it, but he chooses a topic and opines about this or that.

He is kind of an idiot. Did you know he used to be in Congress? I can't remember what state he represented though. Anyone have any more info on that?

And didn't Bush claim that Jesus was the greatest influence on his political philosophy at one point? What a douchebag.

gotta love the zealots... take any given political conversation, and they will find a way to turn it into a bush bashing event.
