Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. |

I can assert with confidence that the Christian God does exist. What makes your confidence more valid than mine? Because you said so? Even supposing that most of the Bible weren't literal, and it had errors based on man writing it - how does that deny the Christian God? |

And the evidence isn't overwhelming against it - There is absolutely no evidence against the Christian God at all. You can't disprove Him. And what makes you think the torment in Hell will be the really bad part? Physical pain is less severe than emotional and mental/spiritual. Jesus endured arguably one of the most painful torture and execution methods in human history, yet none of the physical pain compared to the agony He endured when God the Father turned away from Him because of the sin he carried. That hurt Jesus more than any of the torture ( hence why he screamed God, why hast though forsaken me). |

How could a deity as that described in your bible exist? Why would he be so self-contradictory? Quote:
