I keep picking pieces of it up and vaccuming my house but that stuff seems to multiply and spontaneously appear. Everywhere I go in my house I have a piece stuck to my foot. Fake easter grass. Far more sinister that people suspect.

oh one more thing. I am pissed off at the fact that I wanted to order a video called Human Body from the BBC but they won't ship here to America so then I went on the BBC America site and they don't sell the same video. I have no idea why they don't offer it on the American site. And on top of that even if I do just have it shipped to Infinity's place in Holland and bring it back with me, its not compatible with my VCR and I guess even the DVD has a different system. I really want a copy of it to keep but it looks like I am out of luck. Why isn't there some universal VHS/DVD system?
I also wanted to buy the video called "Superhuman" and I am out of luck on that as well
Nothing but those damn Doctor Who videos...
I have a bag that is 2/3rds of that Fake easter grass. I got it about 8 years ago for my Pet Birds. To see about making a place for them or to have some fun with them at one time.

... I have a library of Doctor Who videos. Kind of sounds like you would not like what I would have around my house...

i'd just like to add that converting a PAL to NTSC is fucking expensive. There are other countries that sell NTSC, mostly South America and East/South Asia and some of Africa.

NTSC has more scan lines and a far better picture.

For example, I have a VHS tape of Tosca made in Rome in the times and places in the story. For instance, when Mario is shot by the firing squad on top of the REAL Castel Sant'Angelo, you can see the dome of St. Peter's in the back ground. And Tosca takes the Nestea Plunge off the Castel Sant' Angelo. It has Catherine Malfitano and Placido Domingo in it. It looks like it's straight off a studio monitor, and was produced by RAI the Italian state TV station. Absolutely gorgeous picture.

This tape must have been transfered from NTSC to PAL video, since I bought it here in the US and is PAL format videotape. It looks as good as a DVD, which is as good as 35mm film, believe it or not.

VHS is of course a very different kettle of fish.

While one needs two seperate DVD players, one USA and one European (or regions of your choice), I have a standard VHS video-casette player that will play both USA NSTC and European PAL movies, no worries.
It is now a standard feature of VHS players sold in Western Europe.

People in my physics class that cant for the life of them remember what they were taught in grade 7-10 math class. Hell, some of them have math the period before physics, and they cant remember the formula for slope that they used 10 MINUTES AGO TO CREATE A SIMPLE LINEAR EQUATION OF A LINE! Theyre sitting there, hand in the air, going;

Skoo marm! Fry mah hide! Skoo marm! Fry mah hide! ah dont knows how t'do this hyar skoo marm! Fry mah hide! It was drilled into mah haid fo' th' last 4 years, but yo' sh'd take ha'f th' class t'explain t'me how t'use th' simple corncepp ah jest used 10 minutes ago.

And this is the higher-level class. I would hate to see what the lower level classes are like.

Hello,

I find the following upsetting:

Tribalism.

Inefficiency or wastefulness.

Those who limit their perspective to suit their interests.

Self-righteousness, in any form or flavor.

Self-evaluation.

Posters who use 'LOL' any number of times in any post whatsoever. It's a discussion board, not a conversation in Morse Code.
