{inspired by this}
I sometimes look green, especially after a hard night's partying. I am fraying around the edges. Given a strong wind, I sway. I am tall and thin. Stamens and pistels.... ooops, I don't want to go down that road. I am a thing of beauty and therefore a joy forever, leastaways till I fade and go to seed. In the meantime, I win. |

Daffodils and tulips are both beautiful
![]() But Gurdur, you're not dormant during the winter months are you? Or do you just bloom especially nicely in spring? |

You mean people cover you with leaves and leave you in the cold, hard ground over the winter and then uncover you to face the spring sun when the time comes around?
I'll believe it! |

Um, the stalk usually fades before the leaves.
And they usually go dormant in the heat of summer (I sometimes wind up spearing my old ones planting the new ones come autumn). Please forgive my nitpicking. I liked the post. ![]() |
