Besides, I'm up for strictly 'scriptural debate' any day. Check my first few hundred posts. I can hold my own with any of them. I just don't accept there POV is all.
Well you gave it up in favor of folly, are you ever allowed back?

I never gave up anything (debate wise), except spending hours of research and study to counter idiotic claims of the few,,, who would then simply respond with a 'whatever' or a

Why do I want to go back?

Why do you flip-flop so? You leave, show up, leave, show up,
You act here as you want nothing to do with CF, yet there you sing a different tune.

Before you make a conclusion, do your homework.

What have I given up? Can you answer that one?

Badfish,

So perhaps you can see the tree within the forest..
Let me reverse the responses of Grim Reaper upon yourself..

1. I cannot trust you since you are a Christian Creationist

2. Badfish, I am very secure, however I have read enough of your posts to read your character, which is just screaming insecure.

If she gives me permission, I'll turn the personal PM's to her around and you.. and THEN perhaps you'll see.

But.. then again... perhaps you won't.

Want a secret tip? Come over to Liberal Theology. The people who aren't happy unless they're better than someone are mostly scared off, and you can have real discussions with people who aren't so quick to judge you. It's amazing.

Thats what makes it so popular. Sad, that division and lack of constructive structured study and fellowship is not promoted. And when you venture into the CO cliques, it is not study if someone asks a question, they are more likely to get a scripture whippin'.
I am often very frustrated to realize that I could not live with myself if I played that game. It's especially frustrating because I'm a competitive sort, and I'll always wonder whether I *could* take some of these people on - but I would feel wrong doing so, so I don't get to find out.

Apologetics is different, I use scripture sticks, there, but i would like to see something a little more humble and reserved for study without a warlike debate, I am not sure it can be done, but with a soft touch, I don't really see why not.
It can. I've had some brief but very interesting conversations with some of the non-believers in Apologetics, which lasted for precisely long enough for some jerk to come in and start quoting scripture out of context. (Not talking about you, here.) And then *poof*, all rapport gone, no chance to keep talking.

First of all, Smilin, if you were there Tears *first* told Grim reaper he was insecure, not the other way around, oh yes thats the truth.

I know people don't trust me, thats comes with being a fundie, I can smile and live with that.

Well if Im screaming insecure, then show me, and its just opinion I would take it with a grain of salt.

What I see is tears attempted to challenge and was beaten, maybe by harsh means, but was still beaten, lots of times when people have no response or are put in their place they cry foul, maybe she shouldn't have engaged.

Personal PM's? I don't believe there were any personal PM's exchanged between the 2, Tears never said that. AFAIK, everything was in public.

First off I've been a member at CF since it opened, second I've been a member here for a year or so, so I decided to come back to this thread, now don't go fundie on me and ignore my apologies, that is just what you are fighting against, be careful there.

Also, CF is a fun place, I just happened to get butt surfed, and since none of the Admins afford any kind of member satisfaction, I came her to rant, just like you guys.

Sorry if you missed my apologies, but don't go "fundie on me, thats what fundies do right? They don't fight and spend all night arguing and debating at CF with its staff for liberal Christians to have their own forum and be allowed to post in the CO forums huh? Well this fundie did, so get off my back, you are misreading me and my intentions, take it easy dude.

LOL, your terrible Pedro. That is the premise though of Christianity, that humanity is depraved and are saved by the miraculous grace of Christ. Lots of good Christians call themselves that. There was one apologeticist that was pretty good, called himself unworthyone, I wonder what happened to him.

Talk to her,,, I'm out of it now..

I'll only state she deserves an apology for how she was treated.
