The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Homosexualism is all well and good in theory, but how do you propose to implement it on a national level?

Wait. If you have no opinion, Tot, you can't be right. All you are doing is reflecting reality. You're not submitting a postulate, but regurgitating another's assumpition, or stating reality. Thus, really, nature is right, or this other person is right. You are merely an echo-deliverer.

So shut your trap.

I hope no one is offended by my doing this but I think I can clarify the OP. Please Total, feel free to correct anything I say and let me know if I'm right or not.
I think the point of this post is that there is a pattern to his posts and your reaction to them which he wants to clarify. He has a tendency to post a quote or link to information he has found interesting or worthy of discussion. However, he often presents the information as is, without his own opinion attached. It is then either assumed that he agrees with whatever it is or demanded that his opinion be clarified on the subject. He doesn't always have an opinion but is often exploring the subject and looking for others' opinions.
Translate "why I am usually right" to "why I can't be assumed wrong when I quoted someone else and never presented an opinion"
Not that he doesn't have opinions because we've seen those too, just that he's very young and in many areas he's still exploring and forming them thus the "I am sorry, sir, but I grow, I change; I am never exactly the same person twice. ".

That's as fine a piece of apologetics as the most educated Christian has ever posted, Never, but like theirs it founders in several places. First, this is Totalitarianist's self-interpretation; it's his opinion of what he does, but like any opinion, it could be wrong. Moreover, even granting his self-interpretation for the sake of argument, there is always an opinion underlying the facts he presents; i.e., that it is his opinion that they are facts. What seems self-evident to him never does to anyone else. As far as the equivocation concerning youthful growth & exploration goes; well, we may all have read Heraclitus and Nietzsche, but the fact is that there is a continuous person who started as Trebaxian Vir & has ended up as Totalitarianist; in fact, judged by the content of his posts, a remarkably consistent person.

<sigh> I wish I could have been funny ... every reply to this thread up until now made me laugh so hard ....
