Thank you for the reference Shottlebop. It's an ongoing answer to one of two things I am looking for and as research work progresses could be an answer to the second.

Assuming findings to be valid, what could be the purpose of this human brain's faculty? It allows us to rest and get recharged in 2-3 hrs or less instead of 6-7 hrs? I believe it works that way for me. At the same time, it keeps open the possibility of being wired to some greater awareness.
