Being unable to state that must be a really uncomfortable situation. Certainly when I found myself back 'on the market' the last thing I wanted was a virgin, experienced women are so much better to deal with.

My first marriage (as a Xtian) was as a virgin.... I struggled to be monogamous because in the back of my mind I wondered what other partners would be like. Now, with my numbers in the upper part of the survey, I am back to one partner (with similar numbers) and very comfortable being monogamous.

I'm a virgin by choice (being a virgin at all seems to put me in the majority). Some of my friends are less than... Well, they are tramps/whores. I could have gotten a lot of (dirty) nookie, if I wanted to *shudder*. However, I find it goes against my character to just do people. I would need a female friend that I cared for AND liked in that way AND isn't already attached (dammit!). That hasn't happened yet. I believe that I will probably be a virgin until I get married.

Well, it sounds like I feel the same way--I want it to be someone I care about, not a stranger.

However, that doesn't mean I waited until marriage. Long before you tie the knot you're certainly going to care for your mate to be!
That's how it ended up with me. We were doing it long before we made it official.
