How come everyone else out there always gets together and yet I live in the most atheistic city on the planet and nothing?

I live on Long Island, but I got to college all the way up in Binghamton. And I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be back untill Easter break

Well, then, damnit man, contact me when you get back in a few months and the two of us will get together in the most pathetic atheist gathering yet on the books!

By "get together," I mean of course, somehow you'll find a way to come into the city, since there's no way in hell I'll be able to make it out to Long Island

coming to NYC to see Picasso/Matisse show, Guggenheim, some graveyards...from LA 20-24th ...glad to know there will be at least one or two atheists around. To bad we havn't figured out how to have Atheist Hostels ...tough being at the thuggery of xians in a far away place.

You may want to try "meet-up" -- they organize days internationally on which people of similar interests meet--same day each month--third Tuesday, for atheists.

I heard about this from Utah atheists, who heard about it from Texas atheists -- it appears to be on the up and up.
