Default PATRIOT ACT II: The hypocrisy of it all

We have no right, NO RIGHT installing "democracy" (fat chance) by violent upheaval in Iraq when we are losing ours at home. Supporters of Bush and this War should be seen as enemies of the Constitution of the United States of America, and that is exactly how I will regard them.

P.S.: By supporters, I mean people who are informed, understand the risks, and know what is going on, and yet still cheer him on.

God this is bad. I'm worried for you people in the States, but also for us here, like if America launches some kind of self-centred war on the world.

Unfortunately, on the democrats.org - issues site it says:
Quote:
Democrats are committed to:

- Winning the war on terrorism and making our country more secure.
It seems the Democrats aren't really against it...

But it says here that "Thomas Jefferson founded the Democratic Party in 1792 as a congressional caucus to fight for the Bill of Rights and against the elitist Federalist Party."

I sent them a message about the Patriot Act II, and I said "What Would Thomas Jefferson Do"? They know I'm an Australian though, so they don't have much reason to listen to me.

Winning the war on terrorism? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Dubya invited a prominent member of Sinn Fein to the White House for Saint Patrick's day. How the hell can we win the war on terror when we invite terrorists over for tea?

excreationist:

Note that NOT saying that is political suicide. The democrats are indeed interested in making us secure, and stopping terrorists - They just don't level it as a primary priority.

Like? I say it is built right into the plans, if they get their way at all. Look up "neocon", "Project for the New American Century" and follow the trail to the White House.

Some of the greatest enemies of our nation and its tradition of democracy come from within!

Frightening. I'm afraid that too many have become convinced that what happens "over there" can't possibly be a reality in this country. I fear there may come a day that this entire country is turned into one huge copy of Iraq because of this complacency.

In deleted posts I've accused this administration of being Nazis anyone want to agree yet?

Historically speaking: In practice the two broker parties in the US. have been interchangeable. It took a sever depression and a general populace near rebellion to bring in FDR and his "New Deal" most wealthy opposed him and refer to him as a "class traitor".

I greatly fear that with current technology that "this elites" will succeed in the reduction of all US labor (irregardless of skill) to third world status.
