Christian,

If you're interested in continuing our earlier discussion, you're welcome to either start a new thread or PM me. I think the context of this thread has shifted enough that it would be rather confusing to keep going here.

Regards,
Muad'Dib

Why can't you just tell me the guys name or any other details that might help me find this specific incident you mentioned.
In case you've already forgotten (or are wishing that I would),heres what you said:
"Well no. Many were clinically dead for hours. There is a Methodist minister (ex-atheist) who claims to have risen in a mortuary after 3 days."

See you in a week after you've read all the links.
Fenton if I thought there was the slightest hope you'd read them and not reject them out of hand, I'd give you the links. You're just using this as an excuse for another personal attack and I've learned not to waste my time chasing down all the stuff you demand.
What links will I be busy looking at? I asked you about a specific event you mentioned and you're taking me on a wild goose chase. You are kidding yourself if you think I'm going to fall for it.
And when have you wasted any time chasing down anything I demand????
You've never shown me a damn thing and this includes your alleged list of misquotes which you have somehow managed to get out of having to ever produce.

You should run for president.

I still have it of course. I only want someone to say they will retract all the vitriol and apologize if I produce it. But that will never happen. The Gang wants to see and nitpick it so they can claim I "lied" again. I lose either way. Even Christians who are "worse than Hitler" can wise up after awhile.

Oh I showed you several of your misrepresentations of me. You had to retract one statement altogether. Anyone who has read my posts knows I would never say I was "incapable of sin." You asserted it anyway and still believe it in spite of my claims to the contrary. Oh I remember now. Those mitigationg statements were part of my "strategy."

Hi Radorth,

I, personally, would be happy to apologize for any slight I have committed against you if I am made aware of it, regardless of whether or not you cite your sources here. Further, if you were to provide sources, I would also be glad to acknowledge that you fulfilled your promise just as you said you would.

It may be worth noting that with bulletin boards in general, and the Secular Web in particular (given the proportion of guests to registered users), debates have the most effect not on one's opponents but on the people who read the boards without ever making their presence known. Imagine how much influence documented cases of after-death experiences would have on people who are walking the fence between belief and nonbelief--and if the regular posters dismiss such powerful evidence unfairly, that myopia will be transparent to our unseen observers, none of whom (surely) are idiots.

Regards,
Muad'Dib

P.S. May I ask the favor from everyone that we hold the venom to a minimum here? I really don't see this discussion going anywhere productive if this kind of mudslinging continues.

I was just testing you to see what part of my post you would respond to and which parts you would ignore. You did exactly as I thought you would and jumped at my comment about "the list" while completely ignoring anything to do with the current discussion (which you have been avoiding all afternoon).

You're a real piece of work,Radorth.

Mageth, Muad'Dib,

Haven't forgotten about you ... just been too busy in the real world to post this weekend.

I'm out of lunch break now, but I'll be online again in a few hours and will reply. I have no problem ignoring the background static and continuing our conversation here if you don't.

And Tercel - have not fogotten you either. I read the Collins article. I want to read through the other links you provided before commenting.

I'll be back!

Respectfully,

Christian

I'm sorry if I'm part of this, but all I wanted was for Radorth to give ANY info at all about his claim of the ex-atheist who came back to life after 3 days in the morgue.
Anyone with at least one good eye can clearly see that Radorth has done nothing but lead me on a wild goose chase.

Sorry if I got teste, but my patience only goes so far and this guy is purposely being difficult.

Well thank you, but I'm not sure you understood that Fenton and I were talking about two different incidents, the case of the atheist with the 3 day "NDE" and an older issue Fenton dredged up -a list of Fenton's misrepresentations he claims I never made nor have. So I'm honestly confused about which it is you say I promised to produce. Clarify and I will respond.

I understand that there's a lot of frustration on both sides. Don't mistake me for a moderator, I'm just an ordinary member like you; I was just hoping to keep things civil especially considering that GRD is a higher forum. Having heard that Christian won't mind posting in the middle of chaos, I don't have any reason other than that to be a pacifist here.

Thanks for your response, and I apologize if I got in between you.
