Thumbs up War of the Monsters on PS2

Just wanted to let other PS2 gamers know that I strongly recommend this game. It's not deep, but it is incredibly fun. For anyone unfamilliar with the title, it's 100-foot monsters duking it out in 100% interactive "cities".

Things I realy like:

The campy 1950s-era monster movie setting.

Slamming an opponent into a building and watching the facade crumble around him.

Grabbing a metal beam from said crumbled facade and beating the snot out of the opponent with it.

Causing a building to topple over on an opponent and winning the round. (Sometimes with me caught underneath, too.)

The variety that went into the monster designs: A Godzilla-like giant lizard, a giant ape, a giant mantis, a clanky military robot (probably my favorite), a dragon, a sleek Japanese robot (kind of like Ultraman), a giant Tiki (another favorite), a magma monster, an alien with a great big brain under a dome, and finally a giant eyeball with a body made of electricity.

This game is at least worth a look-see.

I loved Rampage when I was little, so I'll definitely be checking WoM out. My sister's been raving about it for quite a while now, I think it's inevitable by now that she and I will be going mano a mano soon
