Note that a few posts above, I said "The proper way to say what I think you mean is that for every creature that lives to reproduce, there are many more creatures that die before being able to reproduce."

...general nature whorship? Is that like the sacred temple prostitutes in ancient Greece?

Well, that's one way to get me to go to church. ("Praise the Lord and pass the prophylactics...")

Re the OP, I think I'd be a Catholic, because I find the iconography awfully interesting, and because I have this thing about guilt.

Have also seriously considered converting to Judaism -- the sense of community that my Jewish friends have is very appealing, and I love the emphasis on knowledge and learning. Also... the guilt.

The atheism thing does kind of get in the way, though, and it ain't goin' nowhere.

I suspect that I'm a Satanist already.

W/R/T Rastafarianism... although the ganj and the dreads and all are pretty cool, it is a very, very misogynistic faith, a fact that few cultural-colonist hippie types realize.

If you're into iconography, then choose Eastern Orthodox rather than the Roman church. They have better art, better churches and they have this obscure , Eastern European aura to it.

Thumbs up

I would worship Aphrodite, as long as she could fulfil my desires. The only way I could accept any "God" or "religion" - stop thinking and go with the sensual experience.

Hindu.

The Lord Krishna is a little hottie, so it wouldn't be so bad having his picture around.
I think most of the stories from the Bhagivad Ghita have been adapted into Gilligan's Island episodes, so I know them pretty well already.
I'll bet the potluck dinners are better.
Satanist.

If I discovered that YHVH / Jehovah did exist, I'd have to side with the opposition!
