Arrow I'll Answer Your Bible Questions.

Most people doubt God's word because they don't know the bible as a whole nor do they take things in context. They also take for granted what others say without searching the scriptures for themselves and thus they are blind.
But the main reason is because they have not the Spirit of truth to teach them which Christ said He would give all who believe so they would understand and grow in God's word.
If you doubt or have any bible question that seems hard to understand and so you make it seem false in your own mind, please send me your question or doubt and I will explain in laymen's terms what it means and why it is true.
Grace and Peace to You all.

You could not possibly know with certainty any of what you claim to know, below, about "most people" unless you were omniscient, and I doubt if you are.

I disagree. It is my opinion that it is exactly when you do know the Bible as a whole and you do take what it says in the context of the whole, that the problems really begin to jump out at you--especially if you begin to study what other than Sunday school teachers, Bible study teachers, and Christian apologists have to say, and why they say what they do.

That criticism is probably as true or more true of the average Christian than it is of the average non-Christian here given that so many of us here are ex-Christians.

It looks to me as if you are parroting what you have been taught and now believe. It seems to work for you, probably. But, looking back, one of the most humorous elements of my days as a Christian is the fact that sincere, devout Christians (including members of the Board of Elders, the Chairman of the Christian Education Committee, and the Pastor himself) sometimes disagreed about the correct interpretation of a given Bible passage even though they had just prayerfully asked for the guidance of the so-called "Holy Spirit." It wouldn't have made any great difference, of course, were only insignificant matters involved, but sometimes important matters were involved. The fact that there are 20,000+ "Christian" denominations, each with their minor or major variations in interpretation, provides evidence to support my point.

You could explain what you believe and why you believe it, but not why it is true. Many of the statements that you have already made cannot be proved or falsified.

P.S. I wasn't asking questions. I was making statements in my Biblical Inconsistencies

Me! Me! Me! I've got a question!

If the biblical character of jesus is so perfect, how come in John 7:38 he quotes non-existent scripture?

Then again there are those who do know the bible, and have researched it, and come to the same conclusions.

Another True Christian fallacy. If you don't understand god's simple message, you must not have read it right. So read it again, and again, and...

So the bible isn't a simple message, and must be interpreted by those "in the know"? So much for divinely inspired, it's hardly a perfect message if it can't easily be understood in the same way by all.

And I believe that pretty much all questions you'd be asked have been covered in detail elsewhere. Maybe you could debunk the debunkers? They're easy to find.

Yes, I have a question:

what was this guy Balaam smoking when his donkey started talking to him, and do you know where I can buy some?

I've a question. Were the actions performed by the Israelites in Numbers 31 (specifically verses 17-18) moral? Why or why not?

I have one: Why is the bible so damn boring at times? You'd think the Almighty would have wanted it to be at least entertaining the whole way through, you know, a wild ride with lots of action and naked chicks. At the moment, you get some action and some naked chicks, but a whole lotta lineages and repetitious Psalms. That sort of shoddy script writing would tank any modern motion picture. I don't know, I really think it would be worth a try to re edit it, throw in some machine guns and grenades, some witty banter between J.C. and his apostles instead of all that preachy stuff. They could roam around Isreal shooting up the badguys while saying things like "I'll see you in HELL...NOT!"

Could you reconcile the various passion narratives in the gospels?
