Thank you, trientalis. From what I understand, he had an estranged father and an estranged wife. Brothers.
Lots of friends. It was one of them who told us. I got the impression his friends were his family--yet another plane on which I can identify strongly with him. d |

I had a few encounters with him last year under my old alias and appreciated his sense of humor and knack for telling it like it is.
How old was Steven? He will certainly be missed.
