I believe that God is in control of EVERYONE's life. He indirectly controls ALL actions.

I once read a book in which the person described had feelings of being in an incorrect path in life. He was a manager in a large firm but felt happier as he switched professions by selling fishing accessories.

Free will cannot truly exist if God is controlling every move; all those really who are consistent with God's influence will experience any good in an 'afterlife'.
