The problem with your lackluster, blatantly fallacious, "no true scotsman" argument is that acting outside of the wishes of Jesus does not make one a non-Christian. If acting against Jesus's commands and wishes made one a non-Christian, Christianity would be dead within the week. The simple fact is that the head(s) of the Christian Church (at the times) called for a holy war (a number of them, actually) to retake the holy lands. A holy man calling for a holy duty to free a holy site from so-called infidels. A clear cut act of the Christian Church attacking others, through how many crusades? I can remember at least four. Another clear cut example of this is the Church-sponsered Inquisition. Another would be the orders of knights ordained by the Pope (such as the Teutonic Knights) slaying "infidels" in Europe and selling their children into slavery. Christian men and women, following the Christian Church. Care to try another fallac...er, argument? Oh, and now that we've shown that your religion is quite capable of attacking others, how about showing us the horrible attacks they suffered, which you mentioned earlier. You seem to have forgotten to actually give an example when you made that assertion. Amaranth |
