I've gone from agnostic to weak atheist. And I've become less tolerant of the bullshit that is religion. Today some of my friends who are a bunch of eclectic pagans got together to celebrate May Day (we changed the date largely due to finals.) I was going to go but stayed out late last night. And for once I don't feel bad for it. I've also grown far more logical and I'm far more interested in the academic world.

It wasn't this one, but another atheist discussion board seriously changed my way of looking at God. I guess you could say it converted me from a theist to a theist.

I went to another board and it changed me from a hate filled aSantaist into a strong believer in Santa again!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!

Deconverted from liberal christianity thanks partially to religious debates on another board where IIer Jack the Bodyless (among others) knocked the theism out of me

Well, I'm not sure if it's all the stuff I've read here or the shrubya administration, but I'm less tolerant than I used to be. I was a strong atheist when I joined the boards, so that hasn't changed. I do wish I was more tolarant again, though. Sometimes I feel like I really lose my cool over things I cannot do anything about.

I actually deconverted myself while on a really long car trip alone. It's amazing what 8 straight hours of driving can make you think.

But, this board has definitely helped me become more comfortable with my non-religious stance, in addition to providing both valuable information and hilarious content. <img src="graemlins/notworthy.gif" border="0" alt="[Not Worthy]" />

As for the tolerance issue, it's pretty much the same as when I started.
My frustration with theism, however, has skyrocketed. . .

When I first started reading over this site a year and two months ago I was a dyed-in-the-wool
Church of Christ brand Christian. Now I am an atheist. And it was all because of logical arguments that all of you made and seeing how pissy shit our preachers responded when I asked them the same questions you asked.

My "beliefs" have changed a little, since coming here.

I came here a weak atheist- having only discovered there are such things as weak and strong atheism last year on another website.

Since coming here, I've noticed myself feeling more strongly atheistic toward christianity, islam, judeism, hinduism, etc, so I guess that's what I am now.

I've actually gone from an atheist to a strict agnostic, though I can't be sure that it was entirely the doing of this site. I have, however, become much more proficent at debating. And learned some really cool jokes.
