Three years ago in a mock sketch of President Bush's term of office, Saturday Night Live predicted complete turmoil in the United States. Apparently they were right....

The attacks of September 11, 2001
The massive power outages in the Northeast
Thousands unemployed (including me, g-d damn it)
Political chaos in California
Thousands of our soldiers being killed in Iraq
Global Warming is so server that 3,000+ have died in France because of it

We sill have at least one year and a half until he's gone....

About the only thing that SNL was wrong about was its prediction that Texas would become an idependent, communist state.

Well, we are pretty much down to a one party system here in Texas. The Dems keep fleeing to Oklohoma or Arizona. (Cue banjo music)

We seem to be in a period much like the 1970's, with power outages, political unrest, a foriegn war we should not be fighting (this time in the desert), and a serious pollution problem. Damn history repeating itself!
