FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS 1-7, ANSWER "AGREE" OR "DISAGREE"
1. evolution of life from non-life is a likely or certainly a fact of history Agree 2. science and religion are inherently incompatible Disagree 3. I am familiar with and rapidly recognize the acronym "IPU" Agree 4. I lack belief in an absolute moral law and absolute right and wrong. Agree 5. I am inclined to think that advanced alien life exists somewhere in our universe beyond earth. I neither agree nor disagree. 6. uncaused events regularly effect themselves I don't understand so I neither agree or disagree 7. the 6 senses (if you count the vomeronasal organ- 5 if you do not) is all that is needed to know truth. I neither agree or disagree 8. I think landoverbaptist.com is a funny website. a. TRUE b. FALSE c. I am not familiar enough with that website to answer c. I am not familiar enough with that website to answer I agree with a womans right to choose to abort her foetus. A. TRUE B. FALSE A. TRUE 10. It is inappropriate and/or unscientific to call a foetus a "human being" A. TRUE B. FALSE A. TRUE 11. Organized religion is responsible for the majority of human atrocities throughout history A. I agree B. I disagree C. Other C. I haven't given it any thought so I don't know. 12. When I die, I fully expect my consciousness and awareness to cease existing, so that the only existence I have after my death is merely the natural particles that once made up my physical body- returned to the natural universe A. True B. False I can't answer this question with a TRUE or FALSE. I think that I have NO existence after my death, particles or no particles. 13. The idea that the universe began to exist uncaused from an inflationary quantum fluctuation is reasonable and/or possible. A. TRUE B. FALSE I'm unable to give a TRUE or FALSE answer to this question. I don't know. ---------------------------------- once the first 13 questions are answered, the tester will then gather the answers and serve this portion of the exam: 14. THIS TEST IS WRITTEN BY A CHRISTIAN ATTEMPTING TO PSYCHOLOGICALLY ANALYZE ATHEISTS. IT IS IMPORTANT YOU KNOW THIS. IN THE SPACE BELOW WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS TEST BUT DO NOT ADMIT WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE AN ATHEIST: This is a strange question and I don't know what to type here. FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING, ANSWER "AGREE" OR "DISAGREE" 15. The Judeo-Christian God, as described in the King James Bible, could logically be called a tyrant, a maniac, and/or a murderer. I have never read the King James Bible, so I am unable to answer Agree or Disagree here. 16. Faith and rational thought are inherently incompatible. I neither Agree nor Disagree. 17. Atheists cannot be classified beyond simply "lack of belief in god(s)" I don't know. 18. Xians are, for the most part, irrational individuals (if you do not know what a XIAN is, please answer "UNKNOWN - XIAN"). Disagree. 19. Humans are, ultimately, nothing more than a bag of mostly water- a proteinous, carbon-based mass of stimulated chemicals reacting to each other, having no objective value beyond what the individual or the society places on such masses. The bipedal anthropodic masses of organic matter called "homosapiens" have no special purpose beyond that which each bag of chemicals assigns to themselves of that which a societal group of chemical bags assign to them. Disagree, this statement does no justice whatsoever to any human being I personally know. 20. Please write your honest thoughts about these statements in the paragraph below- do not admit in any way that you may be an ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC AND/OR NATURALIST. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I agree. George Bush calling for a national day of prayer and thanking God while giving public addresses I'm not American so this statement doesn't really make me think one way or another. Carl Sagan & SETI I'm not sure what I'm being asked so I don't know what to answer. I think that SETI is overall a good idea but I know sweet fuck all about it so I'm not inclined to commit myself further. Duck! |

This thread is unbelievable.
I don't think I've seen anyone here claim that absolutely nothing unites atheists (that is, their commonalities are purely by chance). Rather, the claim is that no other beliefs are neccesarily attached to atheism. So xian is arguing against a proposition which no one accepts in the first place. God damn. |

I think it's possible to describe what happens to the atoms and energy that make up my body and brain after I die, but nothing happens to "me" after I die. After I die, I am no more. It's kinda hard to describe. Maybe someone will understand what I'm trying to say. Duck! |

Duck,
I have a feeling xian's amazing scoring methods might involve looking up your recent posts... Xian: How is a test full of loaded questions in any way "supernatural"? |

That's why, as challenger (well, the main one that did not totally dismiss this as bullshit), I am currently having these filled out by random people I know. I have one done. Can't promise how many I can do, but I will do a few more.

My test
IDEALLY, THOSE TAKING THIS TEST SHOULD NOT KNOW THE PURPOSE UNTIL AFTERWARDS.
1) How many cars do you own? 2) How many of those cars are currently running? 3) Are you homeless? 4) If you do have a home, how large is it in square feet? 5) How many other people live there? 6) Are you unemployed? 7) Do you go to a barber or a salon to have your hair cut? 8) Do you ever go without food because you can't afford it? FROM THESE QUESTIONS, I CAN RECOGNIZE POOR PEOPLE. NOTICE THAT I NEVER ASKED, "ARE YOU POOR?" INCREDIBLE, ISN'T IT? |
