As for the religous reference, it sounded hateful. I hope you weren't engineered in school to hate. |

Kimpatsu:I don't place one above the other. Why do you?
dk: Then it should be obvious that people who carry hiv need to know for two very good reasons 1) treatment 2) not to infect others. Its unacceptable that almost 50% of women exposed don't know where they got it, hence can't avoid it. Kimpatsu: Infection is a problem, full stop. Or do you think it's a good thing that certain people contract HIV? dk: Yes, it takes 5 to 10 years to go from HIV+ to full blown AIDs. That's why Public Schools should teach students how to test themselves in health class. I'm glad we agree. Kimpatsu: I wasn't engineered to do anything; I'm a freethinker, remember? dk: Then why do you hate religous people? Kimpatsu: And why should my statement be hateful? Religious fundamentalism has given us the Crusades and the Inquisition historically, and today is responsible for hatemongers such as Phelps and Oral Roberts. Or do you think that their statements are acceptable? [/B] dk: You suffer from the Crusades? hmmm Sounds like programming to me. Do Phelps and Roberts also suffer from the Crusades? |

That's it, dodge the learning issue.
We are still suffering the ramifications of the Crusades today. Ask any Muslim. |

Do you know how stupid this sounds? What you're doing, in my opinion, is rationalizing your commitment to SSM. I'm simply saying there has been no backlash against gays, and that was the worry in the US in the 1980s. Gays openly organize and campaign for SSM, adoption, same sex unions, and work benefits. Its time hiv virus carriers were identified to health officials so the terrible disease can be rooted out and irradiated. In the 1990s the Gay Rights Movement asked for, and got, access into public education, and now its time to anti-up. Lets remove the quilt of deniability by testing HS kids for hiv, other stds and drugs in health classes. This is important because when gays got access to kids in pubic education, suddenly hiv/aids amongst young recruits has increased. Before we give gays intimate access to children with SSM, shouldn't we lift the quilt of deniability. It is unclear to me whether gays have deterred hiv/aids in public schools or transported it into public schools. My goodness, just look at the new cases of hiv that have no risk identified. 60% of women and 36% of men can't identify their risk for the yea 2000. Code:
