blondegoddess,
I hope things go better than you're anticipating...I'm sorry it's likely to be so hard, being honest with the people around you Also, it's not at all fair for people to assume you were deceiving them all these years about your faith just because you now don't believe. I suppose they have to think that because of their theology but I think it's very unfair not to take ex-Christians at their word take care Helen |

I'm so very sorry to hear of this news, bg. I can only hope that your husband will come to his senses after he thinks about the ramifications of his reaction.

He said I was evil and brought a curse onto his home.

I hate that anyone has to go through something like this. Why can't more Christians practice the love they preach? Why can't they trust their God to work things out? Why are they so afraid of anything that disagrees with their theology? (Oh, all right, I can think of a few plausible reasons to answer that last question.) |

I've just finished reading this thread, just as it appears your life is coming to an impasse, bg.
I have no real advice to you other than what others have already said, but it appears you are about to come to some form of separation with your husand. At least I assume that happens when a husband calls his wife "evil". My hope is that you and your children do not suffer from your husband's reaction over your freedom of thought. My best wishes, Thanatoast p.s. If your posts accurately display the person that you are, you most definitely are not evil or cursed |
