To those that have always been atheist or agnostic, have you ever wondered why you cannot see or feel god?

God's quality of non-existence plays a key part.

Why would I seek something that doesn't exist? Bloody waste of time, that.

My big problem with the whole "You aren't looking for him!" argument is simply that I *HAVE* looked for him. He ain't be found none at all.

I can't remember the exact quote, but Buddha says something like: "There are two mistakes when searching for the truth, one is to give up before you find it, the other is never to have started at all" - Buddha

Do not believe anything because it is said by an authority, or if it is said to come from angels, or from Gods, or from an inspired source. Believe it only if you have explored it in your own heart and mind and body and found it to be true. Work out your own path, through diligence.
Guatama Buddha

Well, I searched for the truth, and the truth I found was that God doesn't exist.

You were searching for God, you didn't find God, but what did you find?

No, I was searching for truth (or, perhaps more accurately, reality), not God. I found a natural universe with no need for a Creator, and absolutely no evidence that a god exists.

Yes, I have heard those that the highest religion is that of Truth.

Did you find why the universe was created?

If No, you didn't find the whole truth, but a pasing glimmer

If yes, plz tell me

You didn't ask this of me, but I'll answer it anyway. I found a lot of people who were indoctrinated as children, who believe things based on wishful thinking and who tried to convince other people to believe things based on grossly flawed reasoning. And when faced with others who gained their beliefs in precisely the same way as themselves, but had very different particular beliefs, they tend to show that their preference for their own beliefs over the others was not based in reason, but due to prejudice. In fact, these people are so common, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting three or four of them.

Now you are discussing human behaviour, I want to know what you found instead of God

1) Did you find a a blueprint of a human?
2) Did you find yourself?
3) Did you find a Void?
4) Did you find salvation?

What did you find?

Did you find why the universe was created?

Why ask why? There's no reason the universe was created. There's no "why" to be found. It would be a futile search, though I reckon lots have tried, and it's interesting to read their theories.

If No, you didn't find the whole truth, but a pasing glimmer

I don't claim to have the whole truth. That's another hopeless pursuit. And anyone that claims to have found the "whole truth" is a fool. I've learned to be satisfied with understanding the little bit of reality with which I can become familiar.

If yes, plz tell me

OK - there's no "why". Learn to live with it.

If the Truth can be found it must mean the Truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, is possible to attain.

Jesus says "The truth shall set you free"

I suspect he was talking about the whole Truth. He also said "I am the Truth the Way and the Life"

He claimed to know the Truth, because he said it would set you free as it set him free.

Is this how we should understand it?
