Clark is right about no other governor sticking his neck out for us.
When I was a delegate to my senate district convention (Democrat), we opened the convention with the pledge of allegiance. As far as I could tell I was the only delegate who omitted "under God". |

I personally LOVE Ventura! I wish there was some way to get him to run for president. I may not agree with everything he does, but he is a straight shooter, and really hates the BS of politics. I just can't get behind anyone who tries to double-talk their way thru politics. Yea he sticks his foot in his mouth, but he really wants to do a good job. He cares about this country, and wants to make it a better place. Everyone else just seems to be in politics for some kind of kickback, or ulterior motive.
Ventura for President in 2004!! |

If you really want to see him run, then you should fill out that form at the bottom of the link. Maybe you can help change his mind. If you're interested in seeing where Jesse and his party (Independence Party of Minnesota) stands on the issues check out this link: http://www.eindependence.org/platform.htm [ April 26, 2002: Message edited by: Krieger ]
|

I love Ventura. He won a special place in my heart when he called organized religion a "sham" and a "crutch for weak people". Gawd bless him!

Heck, I want him to run for President so I can make a killing selling t-shirts that say "My candidate can beat up your candidate!"
