Yeah, Eddie Tabash (see the flashing ad at the top of the screen is on a quest to get atheists elected to public office. He has spent tens of thousands of dollars of his own money to get elected to the California Assembly twice, and was nearly successful. One points he makes in his speech is that ALL atheists, agnostics, humanists, etc. in the US, regardless of where they live or where they stand politically should support Jesse if he runs for re-election. Nobody in that high of an office has stuck his neck out for atheists more than he has. We should thank him by contributing to his re-election campaign should he decide to run.

THOUGHTfully Yours,
Clark Adams

Clark is right about no other governor sticking his neck out for us.

When I was a delegate to my senate district convention (Democrat), we opened the convention with the pledge of allegiance. As far as I could tell I was the only delegate who omitted "under God".

I personally LOVE Ventura! I wish there was some way to get him to run for president. I may not agree with everything he does, but he is a straight shooter, and really hates the BS of politics. I just can't get behind anyone who tries to double-talk their way thru politics. Yea he sticks his foot in his mouth, but he really wants to do a good job. He cares about this country, and wants to make it a better place. Everyone else just seems to be in politics for some kind of kickback, or ulterior motive.

Ventura for President in 2004!!

If you really want to see him run, then you should fill out that form at the bottom of the link. Maybe you can help change his mind.

If you're interested in seeing where Jesse and his party (Independence Party of Minnesota) stands on the issues check out this link:

I love Ventura. He won a special place in my heart when he called organized religion a "sham" and a "crutch for weak people". Gawd bless him!

Southerners, you may now be envious.
Okay, I'll envy you for that but we still have mild winters and beautiful beaches so I'll stay right here.

Heck, I want him to run for President so I can make a killing selling t-shirts that say "My candidate can beat up your candidate!"
