My mission in life is to make the amount of time that it takes me to go from zero to sixty miles an hour as short a time as humanly possible for a "streetable" car.
My current ride is a supercharged Mustang. Giddy Up! BTW Badfish, the Cuda has some serious competition for the title of Lord. ![]() |

convertible
I love being about to experience the rush of air through my hair and feel the sun directly on me. I so want badly a 2004 saab convertible Saabusa if you want to take a look at the new convertible model |

The options are lacking. There's no way to differentiate between domestic and imports!
There is a BIG difference between my preference of japanese sport/coupe cars and a domestic sports car. The philosophy behind the cars are completely and utterly different! I'd take an inline-4 banger over a piece of shit Mustang or Camaro any day of the week. |

I have a 2002 Buick Park Avenue---possibly the best car I have ever owned. Rides like a Cadillac on long trips and gives fantastic mpg (32 highway) for a car that weighs nearly two tons. It's quiet and comfortable and that's what I got it for. I took a long trip in a Honda Civic back in 98 and when I got home I felt like Quasimoto when I got out of the thing. Not to mention it was badly underpowered. The poor little thing couldn't get out of it's own way.
From the Civic I went to a new 2000 Accord for a better ride. After only 18 months I traded it in on the Buick--I had nothing but trouble with the Honda including a transmission leak and the fact that the entire dashboard went out on me--no guages worked in the instrument cluster. The front passenger seat didn't latch right into place and I had a passenger fly forward knees into the glove-box when I made a hard stop. The thing had an annoying "hesitation" in the accelerator pedal so that you never quite knew when the engine was going to kick in on a turn or when trying to pass someone. The dealership told me it was just typical Honda--a problem I never had with the Civic. So much for the vaunted myth of Japanese quality. I have had two very minor problems with the Buick that were taken care of quickly and with no hassle. As a side note, when I got the Buick my auto insurance rates took a nosedive. It's like $200 a year less to insure it even though the Buick is newer and much more expensive than the Accord was. My insurance agent told me it's due to physics and the fact that the most expensive part of a car policy is due to medical coverages. Bottom line: you stand a much better chance of walking away from the Buick (and many other similar large vehicles) in a crash than the Honda, and so are considered less likely to generate a medical claim. |

My husband is now a mechanic specializing in northern European vehicles (Volkswagens, Audis, Volvos, etc.), so any vehicle we get from here on out is going to be Nordic in origin.
I'm the wacko who voted "wagon", because I love my Volvo wagon. It's big enough for my family, the cargo area is large enough to haul VW engines in, and I feel very safe. (Important given the absolute idiocy of 90% of Spokane drivers.) My husband went to an autocross event last weekend, and now he's gazing covetously at small, fast VWs... there went my savings. ![]() |

I like the going European philosophy of cars; big enough to squish a few people in, standard transmission. I drove a little Plymouth Sundance through h.s. and a couple of summers after it.

I have a BMW 318ti. A blast to drive and a good compromise between sporty and practical. Gotta love the hatchbacks.

I went with the coupe/sports car, hatchback would likely be a close second. My preference is for little, fast, responsive and japanese.
![]() Oh and the 71 hemi cuda the actual Lord of Muscle Cars. Especially the convertible. ![]() |
