I promised that I'd post pictures of the fruits of my labor, so here they are; albeit a little late, but I'm slow at developing film.
The pictures aren't really indicative of size; the finished one is about a square yard, pieced by machine, quilted by hand. First try, many mistakes, but the printed fabric conceals a multitude of faults. The double nine patch is queen sized; I had it folded up and just turned back one of the corners. There are 41 nine patch squares, and 40 blank squares. It's getting quilted by machine, though I may do the scrolly thing on the blank squares by hand. Oh, I just noticed that the picture's tilted, and since I had my boyfriend cut the images and I don't feel like redoing them, they'll stay like that. That's our couch and brick wall in our apartment, btw. |

Hi Loki,
You quilts look great! Must have been a lot of work - how long did it take you to do the first one? Oh, would you mind giving a link to Quilts Part I, please? Thanks. |

I wasn't able to find the original thread; I'll try again. The finished one took about a week to complete. The double nine patch took much longer.
I suppose we could turn this into a new quilting thread. |
