My friend was telling me that there have been giant skeletons found all over the world and armor and so on. I am extremely skeptical of this and could someone give some supposed evidence and/or articles discussing these giants (if in fact they exist).

There have been giant skeletons found all over the world, many with armor.

They are known as 'dinosaurs' and many had their own armor plating. They died out about 65 million years ago.

Not sure about the armour, but elephants skulls supposedly led to the giant Cyclops myths (the nose hole being thought to have been the eye).

Quite difficult just mentioning "giants" and nothing about size, location, age or whatever.

For example there were some quite tall skeletons ( more exactly mummies ) of both sexes found in the Chinese desert that still had their red-to-fair-blonde har. I think, IIRC, the guy was upwards of 6'2" or 6'4". I guess one can argue they were giant compared to todays population and even more so in their age, apparently.

If the case was something of above average skeletons - of course but what does she mean wiht "giants" - umm 12" or 4 meters or greater???

These claims have been floating around since the 1920�s but no one has yet to put one out for examination.
There was a thread here a while ago on this, all sorts of claims of CIA cover-up etc.
Fundys claim the anti-Christian evil one world government wants to hush up proof that the Biblical Giants (Nephilim) were real. Others claim they want to cover up the fact these �Giants� were from an alien race.
More down to Earth folks say they were part of the many early 20th century archaeological frauds made from cattle bones etc. Not unlike the Cardiff Giant scam.

I�ve heard about the 10-foot tall giant skeletons with red hair since I was a kid (1960's) and more recently on the Art Bell show. I've yet to see one in person.

What kind of repercussions would occur if somehow a "giant" was discovered? Also, my grandfather said before the earliest inhabitants came across the Bering Strait there was a caucasian race that lived here. He said it was on Art Bell and that guy has about the credibility of the hamburgerler but, again if anyone can come up with some credible articles I would be interested.

Well, there was Andr� the Giant. I mean, he had Giant built into his title -- and if you want to see how big he was, watch The Princess Bride (in the credits, I believe it lists him as just that: "Andr� the Giant"). He had... giganticism? Something genetic that made him so huge. Unfortunately, IIRC, his heart wasn't strengthened accordingly, so he died, essentially, of a heart attack.
(Anyone have quick access to the hard facts to back up or correct my recollections?)

I am a giant to most at 6'10" 372lbs but you're most likely referring to the much larger AD&D style behemoths. The likelihood of real humanoid titans existing (or having existed) on Earth is equal to that of encountering the famed Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas in the Sahara.

Your grandfather (and Art Bell) are extrapolating based on one or two pieces of information. Some anthropologists found a skull in North American that was ~15 thousand years old and appeared to have features that were more Caucasian than American Indian. One possibility is that there were people with Caucasian features living in North America a long time ago. But that's only one possibility, and without more information we can't even make conclusions like that.
