Your profile says you are a lab tech, but you also claim to be a fundamentalist Christian. Where did you get your "science" degree, and what sort of lab do you work at?

Much like this place, if I broke a rule, and was told something like that, then I would understand and take it with a grain of salt, and follow the rules, see I'm a fundie but I participate here sometimes, but I also understand that I am under the secular forum rules, and as such I cannot overstep the boundries of the forum rules that enforce it's mission. |

If we always turn the other cheek on a forum, then all heck would break loose, believe me, we take a lot of heat being Christians over there, and it is a priveledge for an atheist to come and challenge our beliefs.

And physics isn't really a field that fundamentalists have a problem with, as long as it doesn't include any of that Big Bang non-sense. Fundamentalists seems to be able to accept everything in science as long as it does not conflict with their rigid belief that the world is 6,000 years old, although they do misinterpret and misuse some scientific laws and theories if they have to, ie the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Also, most fundamentalist enjoy criticizing science for its "failures," but have no problem reaping the benefits to society it has given (medical technology, computers, modern transportation).

The rules at CF are not there to keep order, rather to keep Christians and Christianity from looking foolish. |
