Excellent letter.
Don't worry about the NYT. I've been signed up since the first day they required registration. I've never gotten any junk email to the address I gave them. |

I'm sure that DeLay and his ilk want children to be taught that they're nothing but filthy, worthless sinners who deserve eternal torture in the flames of Hell.

One really wonders how we can move forward as a nation with people like DeLay, Lott, Nickles, and Ashcroft in power. Speaking of "mud", it seems to have infiltrated their brains. What do they do with all this science information concerning human/other species genetics and other advances? Just enjoy the benefits of science but ignore anything which doesn't jive with their unexamined belief systems? And furthermore, impose their ignorance on others? My kids are being raised without the god fairytale and they're doing just fine. How many kids get messed up because they are fed this illogical line of spiritual reasoning instead of getting better insights into action/consequence here on earth?
