Don't suppose there's a clip on the net or anything that anyone knows of. I'd love to see it.

I used to really enjoy TV Nation and The Awful Truth, but I've always got the impression he's a bit shallow. I'll never understand the recption Bowling For Columbine got. Talk about oversimplifying issues. The whole thing was a straw man argument. He basically didn't speak to one intellegent person seeking to explain the gun problem, except those with whom he agreed.

It's comments like that which hurt our troops in the theater. If you want to protest do it before or after the conflict is over. Don't do it now. Too many lives are at risk.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too.

Also, can you tell me how us protesting the war puts the lives of the troops at risk?

I saw the movie, just thought that as political satire it was rubbish. Entertaining for the most part, but not at all deserving of the praise that has been heaped upon it.

You know, Kevin...right now our troops are probably a little too focused on what they're doing to give a good god damn what people are saying about the war at the bloody Academy Awards.

And how the heck does some actors and directors protesting the war in any way endanger the troops? None of these people are planning combat strategy over there.

Oscar speeches don't kill people, guns kill people. Saddam and Hollywood liberals: America's greatest enemies

I am going to be the only person here that is going to say that Michael Moore and his speech was a pathetic bunch of non sense.

Those rich bastards don't have to worry about freedom or anything, half of them live in a fantasy land with huge amounts of money, what do they know about the oppression and abominations Saddam Hussein puts upon his own people?

This is hard for me to say because I am the worlds biggest Home Theater and film buff around.

But I am not going to deny the reason America enjoys the freedoms we do, it isn't because we have been pacifists through the years, no, we fought for these freedoms and for the freedom of less endowed countries.

Without these freedoms that we have fought for through the years, we could be an oppressed nation and Michael Moore wouldn't even had the priveledge to exercise his little speech.
