McG did state:

Our Atlanta office takes care of South Carolina and the surrounding regions...haven't been there myself, there's enough crap to deal with in Texas alone!

Yeah....As we all now know all too well. The rest of us would appreciate it if you'd keep your excess there, rather than shipping it to DC.

I'm a cowboy who forever stamps the poor unsuspecting townsfolk of Cedar Gulch with the capital letter "X". I'm considering a transition to the role of Cowboy O, but nothing firm yet.

Actually I'm a software designer who does mostly advanced development and prototyping for a division of a large publishing company that develops and markets educational and intelligence assessments. Presently I'm working with .NET, C#, MSDE, SQL and stuff like that. My last project was a scoring and analysis system for the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale 5th Edition. I mostly designed the UI and application framework as well as designing most of the artwork for the application.

<I'm also about halfway through getting an MBA with a concentration in Project Management>

Lightbulb What do I DO or what is my JOB?

Interesting how when asked 'what do you do' we often reply with:
I am a waiter
I am a nurse
I am a mens room attendant
etc etc ad nauseum

I ask is this really what all of you DO or is it just your job? I would say I am a musician, I like to paint, sculpt sew my own KILTS make love... What is my JOB? I am a technical support engineer. Maybe I am just arguing over the question in the original post in my own mind, but I think that unless you TRULY love your job it is just that and you DO what you really love outside of that JOB - maybe that is a differant topic all together.

Be Well

Currently, I am a microbiology technician for a tomato paste processing plant. Only for the summer, because college begins at the end of August.

Default sacrifice or arrogant fool

California
... i'm a stone carver. i carve marble by hand. No power tools unless it's to square a bottom. i draw and paint nudes. Some wood and lino cuts...but mainly i carve stone. And i sell it just not quite enough to cover all the bases...but close. Currently working on a Private Grant for $25k.
...in order to cover the bases i have day jobs. Last day job 2 and a half years was driving a 36 foot modified RV with stations for hair, make up and wardrobe stylists...which was all for Photo Shoots for many different magazines, catalogues and such. Got to draw a few celebs...from Brad Pitt to Helen Hunt not to mention many models/talent and crew. Driving a 36' RV is fun and meeting all these new people was great but ... ya never knew when you were working... i had "my" RV and it was a traveling gallery.

Before that i was a Stone mason for an Australian company trying to get a foot in the door here on the west coast...Ran the warehouse, drove a forklift, shaped sandstone from Gosford Quarries in Sydney.

Before that i worked as a sculptor on movies 'n such. My claim to fame here is the Big Emmy's you see on TV ... that was my project. Also the over-size dolphin fountain at the Long Beach Aquarium i had a big hand in. But really it's all about hacking foam...hence i was a foam hacker... everything is made of foam.

Worked on several movies...nothing to spactacular. a 3D 70 mm Imax called Journey of Man featuring Circ du Solei (could a been good but was soooooo hoookey) and Psycho Beach Party... a real "B" movie

6 years as Personal Assistant in Beverly Hills. lots a messed up folks here who know nothing of reality.

Proof Reader !!! for a Title Insurance company 3 plus years.
