Just curious... The first person I knew was killed in the war recently. His tank got hit by a mortar. Didn't know him at all, just who he was and his name.

Do you know anyone who was KIA?

Where I read over this, I thought is sounded akward also... "The fisrt person in the war that I knew, was killed recently" is how it should read.

I don't know anyone personally who's been killed, but have been keeping track of all Illini who have died over there. I think four Illini were KIA the last time I checked, it's probably around five or six now. The closest fatality (geographically) was from Bloomington.
