Hey,

do not run in wrong direction with your "imagination".

The story behind the Movie is, that Spirit actually run over Martian observation post, and damaged part of it badly.
The Martian apparently did not know if he should engage rover, and his spinning head got caught by Spirit camera twice.
He decided or was ordered to do nothing, and Spirit moved on to the shining horizons...
The Martian wears fur coat, and apparently some sort of gogles.
When he makes his turn, you see change in the way his neck is touched by coat.
So, in spite of different perspective in the frames one can be sure, that it is not illusion but a real change.
That's my story and I am sticking to it :boohoo:
