So why is it all the Jesus pictures show a long haired hippy dude?
But what about The Biblical version of The Rock? You know, Samson and his weak in the pants obsession with Delilah.
It may be a small and nitpicky contradiction but what the hell.

No reply to the OP?

So then, what is your opinion of the Shroud of Turin? Do you believe that's not Jesus, or it's not authentic? The person pictured on that appears to have long hair.

Do you have scriptural references on Jesus' appearance?

God naturally made women to have longer hair, so it's no surprise that we guys find it quite beautiful.
False. I prefer short hair.

Heh, reminds me of a quote from a review of an old English production of Jesus Christ Superstar (slightly paraphrased):

The part of Jesus is sung by The Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillian, a long-haired young man, but then so was Christ in his popular image.

So what did he look like?

And no ideals or assumptions, please.

What did Jesus look like? Lord knows.

Probably short and curly haired, probably olive skinned and rough featured.

Certainly not as pictured by many sects as your typical long haired English gentleman with soft features.=======kind of like a sweet natured Errol Flynn, Robin Hood type.

I thought that one had been cleared up? It's a 14th century fake.

I was asking Magus55's opinion on it; I've debated it with other Christians, and most still believe it to be Christ; they simply say the dating is incorrect. I certainly don't think it's Jesus, but if one does, then he'd have to accept the long hair.
