Exclamation Going on Vay-cay-tion!!!!!!!

Woohoo!!!

First vacation in I don't know how long, other than weekends in Vegas. R&R time... I've got 3 books to read, all my comfy sweats and my ski clothes for Lake Tahoe.... Heavenly. On the return trip we will spend 1 day in Napa and do some winetasting etc.

However, I am leaving in approximately 45 minutes and I can already feel the tremors setting in at the thought of a 7+ hour drive with my husband and no internet access!!! My palms are geating sweaty just thinking about it... anybody got a Xanax???

(The most important thing I must remember is when we get to their house (family we're staying with) to resist the urge to fly right past them, up the stairs to the office where the computer is and frantically log on.... this will require some restraint. Pray for me. )

Wish me luck in not having any freak ski accidents or getting eaten by a bear!

I am so jealous. I don't have any friends or family that live anywhere I would want to visit anymore. My friends in SF moved back to Indiana. I don't have any clue why. My family are all in E TX and everyone else is just scattered about the continent.

I know what you mean about being away from the net though. I have sec web withdrawl after a few hours. Thinking about what I'm missing and how long it will take me to catch up when I get back.

Have fun and take it easy on the slopes.

I have not had a vacation in 4 years, and I'm neck-deep in work until mid-May. I think I'm going to have to pray to the Bear God to alert him that succulent snacks are on the way. Boy, are you ever lucky that I'm an atheist.
